Since the iPod, iPhone, and iPad all use the Apple iOS operating system, the process of getting a PDF file onto each device is nearly identical. We will explain
through instructions and screen caps of an iPhone user. We hope this will easily help you through viewing HG&L Magazine on your device.
STEP 1: The first thing you want to do is make sure that you have the iBook application installed on your device. If not, it's a free app that Apple provides in the App Store. Check out more info HERE

STEP 2: Once you have clicked on the"Download" button from our site and paid for the digital magazine download, you will receive an email with your download link. Open the email with the device you wish to view our magazine on, then click the download link as highlighted with the red dashed box in the image to the right. |

STEP 3 When you click the "Download Link" in the email, a new window will appear with the direct download button/link. Click on the button/link as indicated by the highlighted section to the right. It won't seem like anything is happening but the domain address will change indicating the download has begun. |

STEP 4 The blue bar is the progress of the download. When the address bar changes to "downloads.payloads.com" you know your download has successfully started. So just wait for a minute or two and the magazine will appear in the browser. |

STEP 5 To ensure you have saved the magazine to your device for later use touch the screen anywhere on the magazine cover to bring up the "Open in iBooks" button in the top right corner of your browser. |

STEP 6 Click the "Open in iBooks" button and your magazine will be saved to the application "iBooks". You can now exit out of the browser and open iBooks. |

STEP 7 When iBook opens, set your bookshelf to view PDFs by clicking the middle button at the top. By default this button is set to "Books"; clicking this button brings up the next screen which gives you the option to view PDFs. |

STEP 8 The "Collections" screen gives you the option to select either "PDFs" or "Books". Select "PDFs" and then "Done" to view HGL magazine on your bookshelf. Click the cover of the magazine you just downloaded. |
